Safe Checks You Can Try
1. Check the system is armed
Motion is only detected when the system is armed and the camera’s Motion Detection toggle is on.
2. Increase motion sensitivity
Raise the sensitivity slider in the camera’s motion settings so smaller movements register.
3. Review your Activity Zones
Make sure the area you care about is not excluded by an Activity Zone.
4. Check the retrigger time
A long retrigger time leaves gaps between clips. Lower it if you are missing back-to-back events.
5. Reposition the camera
PIR sensors detect movement crossing the view better than movement coming straight at the camera, and they do not work through glass. Mount to the side of the area and avoid pointing through windows.
6. Confirm storage is available
If storage is full, clips cannot be saved. Free up space or check your subscription/USB drive.
