5,300Pa suction | MagSlim LiDAR | 83 mm slim | Auto-empty dock (3L) | Up to 180 min
Overview
The Tapo RV20 Max Plus is an ultra-slim robot vacuum and mop, 83 mm tall, with 5,300Pa suction and MagSlim LiDAR navigation. Tapo lists low-obstacle avoidance, anti-drop and anti-stuck sensors, and a 3D map with up to 4 maps and no-go zones.
It mops with a 300ml water tank and 3 water levels, and avoids carpet when mopping. The auto-empty dock takes a 3L bag that Tapo says lasts about 2 months, and the robot has a 300ml bin and runs for up to 180 minutes. It works with Alexa and Google and climbs thresholds up to 22 mm.

Setup & Installation
Put the dock on a flat hard floor against a wall. Tapo says to keep 1.5 m clear in front and 0.5 m each side, out of direct sun and away from glass and mirrors.
Turn it on (hold the power button for 3 seconds), connect it to 2.4GHz Wi-Fi in the Tapo app, and start the first clean from the dock so it maps where the dock is.
Common Problems & Fixes

Who Should Buy It
Anyone with low beds and sofas who wants a robot that empties itself.
Verdict
The RV20 Max Plus is a slim, self-emptying robot that fits where taller robots cannot. For stronger suction, look at the RV30 Max Plus Gen2.
