Echo Studio (2025) Bluetooth Not Connecting

What This Problem Means
The Echo Studio’s Bluetooth 5.3 cannot pair or maintain a connection with another device. Bluetooth pairing issues are common and usually resolve with a simple disconnect, clear pairing history and fresh reconnection.

- The Echo Studio does not appear in your phone’s Bluetooth device list
- Pairing appears to succeed but no audio plays through the Echo Studio
- Bluetooth connection drops repeatedly while streaming
- Previously paired device no longer connects automatically
Safe Checks You Can Try
1. Put the Echo Studio in Pairing Mode
Say “Alexa, pair Bluetooth” to put the Echo Studio into pairing mode. It will confirm this verbally. On your phone, go to Bluetooth settings and look for “Echo Studio” in the list of available devices. Select it to pair. If it does not appear, make sure Bluetooth is enabled on your phone and you are within range.
2. Clear Paired Devices and Reconnect
In the Alexa app go to Devices → Echo Studio → Bluetooth Devices and remove all paired devices. On your phone, forget the Echo Studio from your Bluetooth settings. Then pair again from scratch. This resolves most persistent pairing issues.
3. Check Distance and Interference
The Echo Studio uses Bluetooth LE 5.3. Keep your phone within 10 metres and avoid physical obstructions between the devices. Other Bluetooth devices nearby can cause interference — try pairing in a room with fewer active Bluetooth devices.
4. Restart Both Devices
Unplug the Echo Studio for 10 seconds and restart your phone. Once both have restarted, attempt pairing again. A fresh start on both sides resolves the majority of Bluetooth connection failures.
5. Check If the Echo Studio Is Already Connected to Another Device
The Echo Studio can only maintain one Bluetooth connection at a time. If it is already connected to another phone or tablet, it will not appear as available. Say “Alexa, disconnect Bluetooth” to clear any existing connection before pairing your device.
