🔄 Try this first — Unplug the Blink Arc power cable from the wall socket, wait 10 seconds, then plug it back in. Both cameras will restart automatically. Also restart your router by unplugging it for 30 seconds.

If your Blink Arc is showing this problem, working through the checks below in order will resolve it in the large majority of cases.

What This Problem Means

The Blink Arc cannot establish or maintain a Wi-Fi connection. This prevents live view, motion alerts and remote access from working.

Common Symptoms

  • Camera shown as offline in the app
  • Setup fails at the Wi-Fi connection step
  • Camera connects briefly then drops off again
  • Flashing or unusual LED behaviour during setup

Safe Checks You Can Try

1. Restart the camera and router

Unplug the Blink Arc power cable from the wall socket, wait 10 seconds, then plug it back in. Both cameras will restart automatically. Also restart your router by unplugging it for 30 seconds. Wait 2 minutes before attempting to reconnect in the app.

2. Check Wi-Fi signal strength

Move the Blink Arc closer to your router temporarily and try connecting. If it connects when close, the installation location has too weak a signal. A Wi-Fi extender will resolve this.

3. Confirm the correct Wi-Fi band

The Blink Arc connects on 2.4GHz (802.11ax). If your router merges 2.4GHz and 5GHz under one name, try separating them and connecting specifically to 2.4GHz.

4. Re-enter Wi-Fi credentials

If your Wi-Fi password has changed recently, reconnect the camera in the app.

5. Check router security settings

Ensure your router does not have MAC address filtering or device isolation enabled. WPA2 or WPA3 is recommended.
