Safe Checks You Can Try
Check microphone mute status
1. Look at the light ring on your Echo Studio
2. A solid red light ring means the microphone is muted
3. Press the microphone button on top of the device to unmute
4. The red light should turn off when unmuted
Check internet connection
1. Alexa requires an active internet connection to process commands
2. Check your router is working and other devices can access the internet
3. If internet is down, wait for it to restore
4. Restart your router if internet appears to be working but Alexa is not
Check power supply
1. Ensure the power adapter is firmly plugged into the Echo Studio and wall outlet
2. Use only the official Amazon power adapter for your device
3. Try a different wall outlet
4. Check the power cable for any visible damage
Restart the device
1. Unplug the power adapter from the wall outlet
2. Wait 30 seconds
3. Plug back in and wait 60 seconds for the device to fully restart
4. Say the wake word and test response
