Your doorbell has lost its connection to the internet and cannot send alerts, record events or be accessed via the Ring app.
Common Symptoms
• Red offline icon shown in the Ring app

Safe Checks You Can Try
Restart the doorbell
1. Switch off the power to the doorbell at the fuse box for 10 seconds, then switch back on. Also restart your router by unplugging for 30 seconds.
Check power supply
1. Confirm the doorbell is receiving power from your existing wiring.
2. Check the fuse box to ensure the circuit is active.
Reconnect to Wi-Fi
1. Open the Ring app and tap Device Health.
2. If Wi-Fi shows Offline, tap Reconnect to Wi-Fi and follow the on-screen instructions.
Check Wi-Fi signal strength
1. Open Device Health and check RSSI — aim for between 0 and -60.
2. Add a Ring Chime Pro if signal is weak.
