Blink Outdoor 2K+ Sync Module Offline? Here’s How to Fix It
The Sync Module is the hub that links your battery cameras to your Wi-Fi. When it goes offline, every camera that depends on it shows offline too.
What This Problem Means
If your Blink Outdoor 2K+ is showing this fault, working through the checks below in order will resolve it in the large majority of cases. Each step is safe to try yourself and is based on Blink’s official guidance.
Common Symptoms
- “Sync Module is Offline” banner across the top of the app
- Every dependent camera thumbnail is blurred
- Solid blue with blinking green LED on the module
Safe Checks You Can Try
1. Check the module LED
A solid blue light with a blinking green light means the module is offline and trying to reconnect.
2. Power-cycle the Sync Module
Unplug it from power for 10 seconds, then plug it back in. Wait for a solid blue and steady green light.
3. Power-cycle your router
Unplug your router for 30 seconds and let it fully restart.
4. Check your Wi-Fi password
If your Wi-Fi password has changed, update the Sync Module’s Wi-Fi settings in the Blink app.
5. Simplify your network
Disconnect any Wi-Fi extenders or mesh pods so only your main router is active, then reconnect them once the module is back online.
6. Factory reset as a last resort
If it stays offline, factory reset the Sync Module and add it again.
