Safe Checks You Can Try

1. Reduce Motion Sensitivity

Open the Ring app, go to your Ring Battery Doorbell Pro settings and reduce motion sensitivity or set narrower motion zones. Every motion event the doorbell records uses battery. A doorbell recording 50 events per day will drain the battery much faster than one recording 5.

2. Check Wi-Fi Signal Strength

A poor Wi-Fi signal forces the Ring Battery Doorbell Pro to use more power to maintain its connection. Open Device Health and check signal strength. Moving the router closer or adding a Ring Chime Pro can improve signal and reduce battery drain.

3. Enable Motion Scheduling

In the Ring app you can set a motion schedule to disable alerts during times when activity is expected (bin collections, school runs). This reduces unnecessary recordings and extends battery life.

4. Check for Extreme Cold
