🔄 Try this first — Remove the battery from the camera, wait 10 seconds, then reinsert it. Also restart your router by unplugging for 30 seconds.

Is your Ring Stick Up Cam showing as offline in the Ring app?

What This Problem Means

Your camera has lost its connection to the internet and can no longer stream Live View, send motion alerts or record events.

Common Symptoms

  • Ring app shows the Ring Stick Up Cam as offline
  • No motion alerts being received
  • Live View fails to load

Safe Checks You Can Try

1. Check Your Internet Connection

Test whether other devices on the same Wi-Fi network can access the internet. If no devices can connect, the issue is with your broadband or router rather than the camera.

2. Restart the Camera

Remove the battery from the camera, wait 10 seconds, then reinsert it. Allow two minutes for the camera to fully restart and reconnect.

3. Restart Your Router

Unplug your router from the mains for 30 seconds, then plug it back in. Wait for it to fully reconnect before checking the camera status.

4. Check Wi-Fi Signal Strength

Open Device Health in the Ring app and check signal strength for your Ring Stick Up Cam. If signal is weak at the mounting location, a Ring Chime Pro or Wi-Fi extender positioned closer to the camera can improve reliability.

5. Check Power Supply

For plug-in or hardwired models, confirm the power adapter is fully seated and the outlet or circuit has power. For battery models, check the battery level in Device Health.
